Homemade House
"Treat Your Hair"

You could never have too many homemade recipes!  We just love giving you as many recipes for homemade beauty treatments as we possibly can!  With Spring around the corner and all of the pretty outfits in those light spring colors, we're going to give you a nice recipe for helping to keep your hair looking cute.

Split-Ends Treatment:
3 tbsp (45ml) clear runny honey
4 1/2 fl. oz. (125ml) extra virgin olive oil
2 drops of rosemary essential oil
2tsp (10ml) cider vinegar

Place the honey in a bowl and add the olive oil and rosemary essential oil.  Beat them together.

Massage the mixture into your hair, then wrap it in a hot towel and relax for 30 minutes.  Rinse with warm water, then shampoo and condition.  Give your hair a final rinse with warm water to which you have added the cider vinegar.  This mixture can be stored for up to two months.

Anti-dandruff Shampoo
2 tbsp (30ml) kaolin powder
3 tsp (15ml) ground rice
3 drops eucalyptus essential oil

Mix the kaolin and rice together, then ad the essential oil and blend in carefully to make sure it is thoroughly dispersed.  The mixture should be fairly dry and resemble breadcrumbs.

Mix a small amount of mixture with some water to create a thick paste.  Massage it gently into the roots of your hair and scalp.  Leave for 15 minutes, then rinse out and condition.  This mixture will keep for up to a month in the refrigerator.
