EbonyCPrincess Hair as a Kid
Hi and welcome to the All Things Hair section of New Black Hair Media! My name is Ebony – better known to the online hair community as EbonyCPrincess. I’ve been on my official hair journey towards growing long, healthy hair since May of 2009, but hair has been my hobby for years! Even as a little girl sitting between my mother’s legs as she cornrowed my hair into an intricate style, I often had very specific opinions about how I wanted my hair to look. Currently my hair is relaxed and falls just to the bottom of my shoulder blades (BSB) – but that doesn’t define my love for hair. I am an advocate for and appreciate all types and textures of hair and my main objective is to inspire and assist Black women in taking great care of their hair and, if you desire, grow it long. I’m not #teamrelaxed nor am I #teamnatural; whether you are natural, relaxed, texlaxed, transitioning or texturized, rock your real hair, weaves or wigs…I’m all about #teamHEALTHYHAIR!

I’m not sure, its definitely not black black. I think relaxing has lightened it a bit…but I wouldn’t call it light brown either, more of a 1b! lol
I love long healthy hair. I havent relaxed in 8 years I never tried a weave. But I really want an awesome weave. I think Im going to try one this fall. Im going to ck back often for tips on caring for my weave. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
