Ever since Ashanti first burst onto the music scene singing the hook Ja Rule’s hit “Always on Time” with long softly curly tresses – the perfect 1b/27 mix, I’ve been in love with her hair. Ashanti is super trendy – always rocking the latest and hottest looks and at times setting the trends. She is fearless with her looks, one day wearing way-down-to-there extensions, red, blonde or black tresses, updos, ponytails, a variety of textures – I don’t think there is much that Ashanti hasn’t tried with her hair. And, I’ve never seen her with a bad wig or weave…a very difficult feat for celebrities to accomplish these days. Even Queen Bey has been caught out there with visible lace on her forehead!
