No longer a look reserved for librarians, the top knot can be incredibly chic and feminine. It is a very popular look among celebrities – LaLa Anthony, Ashanti, and Kim Kardashian have all been seen wearing various versions of the top knot bun among many other celebs. Red carpet, date night, work, or even the gym – this bun is so versatile it works for any occasion. I used to only feel comfortable wearing low or mid-height buns, but moving it higher to the top of my head gives me an entirely different look. To the left is my version with side-swept bangs. Easy, super chic, and best of all your hair is up, out of your way and protected!
