Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Tour

Five days. Six schools.  All-star panelists. Yes, you guessed right.   The Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Tour, organized by SixOne7 Creative, hit your favorite HBCU’s on the east coast.  The tour started at Lincoln University, then headed to University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Hampton University, Florida A & M University, Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University.

The tour, promoting the Carol’s Daughter Transitioning 1-2-3 Kit,  was hosted by Myleik Teele, the founder of CurlBOX.   At each stop, the panelists and attendees talked about various topics related to natural hair including: moisture retention, dating while natural, natural hair in the workplace, and much more.   If you missed out on this wonderful tour, don’t worry.   The tour will be hitting an HBCU near you this fall!  In the meantime, check out the photo gallery from the spring tour.
